Rental Agreement:
This agreement pertains to the short-term rental of Art Escape Studios situated at Blegdamsvej 68, 2100, Cph, for the purpose of exhibitions, meetings, and creative events. In order to facilitate a seamless and transparent transaction, it is imperative that both the tenant and Art Escape Studios adhere to the following terms and conditions:
Rental Period:
The rental period is limited to the agreed-upon date and time as specified in the lease agreement. Any changes to the rental period must be agreed upon in writing in advance.
Purpose of the Rental: The premises may only be used for the specified purpose as indicated in the agreement and may not be altered without the written consent.
Payment: The rental price and any fees must be paid to Art Escape Studios, in advance in accordance with the payment terms specified in the agreement. Failure to pay will result in the termination of the agreement.
Security: The tenant is responsible for ensuring that the premises and any exhibited items are adequately protected against damage, theft, or vandalism throughout the rental period – hence, a security deposit will be charged. The amount will depend on the renting period and can be seen in the specific section under each renting option.
Cleaning and Maintenance: The tenant is responsible for returning the premises in the same condition as received. Any damages or deficiencies must be reported to studio director Melanie Smith within a reasonable time frame and will be deducted from the deposit. Should damages occur greater than the allotted deposit, an invoice for the cost will be issued to the renter.
Insurance: The tenant must have appropriate liability insurance to cover any damages caused by accidents during the event (contents insurance). The landlord assumes no responsibility for loss or damage to the tenant's property.
Cancellations and Refunds: Cancellations must be communicated in writing to Art Escape Studios with adequate notice.
If canceled less than 1 week before the event: 75% of the deposit will be returned but not the rental fee.
If canceled 1 week before the event: 100% of the deposit but not the rental fee will be refunded.
If canceled 2 weeks before the event: 100% of the deposit will be returned and 50% of the rental fee .
If canceled 3 weeks before the event: Full refund
Termination of Contract: Art Escape Studios reserves the right to terminate the contract with immediate effect in case of significant breach by the tenant.
Changes to the Conditions: Any changes or additions to these conditions must be agreed upon in writing and signed by both parties.
Note: The tenant must comply with all applicable laws, rules, and regulations regarding exhibitions, meetings, & events.
By accepting these terms, both the organizer and Art Escape Studios acknowledge their individual responsibilities and pledge to uphold them throughout the rental period. It is highly recommended that both parties carefully review and understand the conditions before finalizing the lease agreement.

And if you are in need of extra art supplies we also have a small art supply shop!
As part of our events and workshop package we include promotion of your event on our social media platforms (Instagram, Facebook & LinkedIn) and listings on our webpage. With an ever growing audience and 5 years of success, Art Escape is a great platform to attract your creative clientele.

Note: The coffee bar will be open for your clients to purchase coffee and tea and cold drinks when choosing the package with staff. If you want their drinks included in your price, then we have discount cards available for all renters giving you a nice % off the cost of beverages for your guests.
